College Readiness Workshop

Had a blast connecting with the brilliant, high school juniors and seniors in the Cooperman College Scholars program at Rutgers Newark! It was an honor to contribute to their college readiness experience.

Thoughts from participants:

“I would recommend this workshop, because I have friends who get paired up with people they don’t talk to, so they get mad, and don’t want to work together. However, this exercise can teach them to learn how to work with others in a kind and professional way.”

“My favorite take-away was being able to identify characteristics about ourselves that not only made us different from some of our other peers but how such traits can be fruitful to our success in our daily lives.”

“Yes, it is very important that you know how to interact with others and I will be applying it in my daily life.”

“I will apply what I learn in the workshop in my daily life because it is a useful tool and that can help me open new opportunities.”

“The way we work together on projects or work on anything in general life may differ, but when we bring those qualities together, we can really get a lot done.”

“Collaboration is a key skill necessary for success.”
